Her professional background includes serving as the director of marketing for a respected law firm and a leading regional accounting and consulting firm. She is also a founding partner of Professional Peers Connect LLC, a professional development and coaching firm. Over the course of her career, Thomson has been quoted in and has published articles in numerous professional journals; spoken before professional audiences on the topic of nurturing business development relationships and creative marketing; and has won significant national and local awards for business leadership, original advertising campaigns, promotional videos, and direct mail campaigns. Thomson, a resident of Malverne, holds a degree in Psychology from Cornell University and balances her work life with the antics of three school-age children and her husband, Michael.
